Sophia Loeb is among the artists included in the third edition of ABERTO, taking place in São Paulo from 10 August - 6 October 2024.
Founded in 2022 by Brazilian art advisor Filipe Assis, ABERTO celebrates and promotes the Brazil’s architecture, art, and design both nationally and internationally. The annual presentation in staged in new spaces, with this year's edition held in two brutalist houses from the 1970s, one by Brazilian architect Ruy Ohtake, designed for his mother, Tomie Ohtake, a celebrated artist from Kyoto, Japan; and the other by Chu Ming Silveira, an architect and designer from Shanghai.
