On Friday, 3 May 2024, Annabelle Ténèze, Director of the Louvre-Lens, will be giving a lecture at the Toledo Museum of Art, OH, on the work of Jacqueline de Jong, Marisol, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Carolee Schneemann. The talk will take place at 7pm in the Glass Pavilion.
Focusing on four women artists who played a key role in the art scene of the 1960’s, the lecture will explore the similarities between their lives and careers as the artists responded to their respective changing societies.
The talk will be introduced by Dr. Adam Levine, the Edward Drummond and Florence Scott Libbey Director of the Toledo Museum of Art.
