We are delighted to announce that Qualeasha Wood's Divine Interventions, 2022, has been acquired by the Rhode Island School of Design Museum.
After earning her BFA from RISD in 2019, this marks a tremendous full-circle moment for the artist!
Divine Interventions, 2022, was included in It’s time for me to go: Studio Museum Artists in Residence 2021–22, MoMA PS1, 17 November 2022– 27 February 2023. Her other recent exhibitions include a solo exhibition, Manic Pixie Magical Negro, Kendra Jayne Patrick, NY (2023); The New Bend, Hauser & Wirth, Somerset, NY and LA (2022-3); and tl;dr, her first solo exibition with Pippy Houldsworth Gallery (2023).
