Pippy Houldsworth Gallery is delighted to announce that Li Hei Di is included in New British Abstraction at the Centre of International Contemporary Art (CICA), Vancouver. The exhibition will run from 16 March to 16 April 2023. Li's painting, Liquid meadow in the lust of dawn, 2022, will be shown alongside work by Alia Ahmad, Sarah Cunningham, Pam Evelyn, Jadé Fadojutimi, Louise Giovanelli, Rachel Jones, Francesca Mollett, Michaela Yearwood-Dan and Flora Yukhnovich.
Hailing from British art schools in recent years, these ten young female artists are leading the charge internationally in new patterns of abstraction. Curated by London-based guest curator Louis Blanc-Francard, New British Abstraction brings them together and unveils their works to audiences in Vancouver for the very first time. A catalogue will be available to accompany the exhibition.
