Jadé Fadojutimi (b.1993) lives and works in London. She earned a BA from The Slade School of Fine Art, London in 2015 and an MA from the Royal College of Art, London in 2017. After Pippy Houldsworth Gallery took on representation of the artist and presented her first solo exhibition at Pippy Houldsworth Gallery in 2017-18, she had her first one-person institutional show at PEER UK, London in 2019. Acquisitions by Tate London, ICA Miami, and a promised gift to Dallas Museum of Art followed soon after. More recently works have been acquired by the Walker Art Center, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Hepworth Wakefield, Hammer Museum, LACMA, Albertina Museum, Stedelijk Museum and High Museum. In 2021, Fadojutimi was a participaiting artist in the Liverpool Biennial and was included in the exhibition, Mixing it Up: Painting Today, at the Hayward Gallery, London, curated by Ralph Rugoff. Her first US museum solo exhibition opened at Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, in November 2021. Upcoming institutional solo exhibitions include the Hepworth Wakefield, UK (2022) and Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin (2023). Fadojutimi has been selected to participate in the 2022 edition of the Venice Biennale.
